Job Description Job Description We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist near Novi, MI. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow, accurate financial records, and strong customer relationships. What You'll Do Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner Maintain accounts receivable ledgers and ensure balances are up to date Prepare and distribute aging reports; follow up on past-due accounts Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and billing issues Assist with bank reconciliations and journal entries Partner with sales, customer service, and accounting to resolve account questions Support month-end close and audit requests as needed Continuously look for opportunities to improve AR processes and efficiency What We're Looking For 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting support Strong understanding of invoicing, payments, and aging management Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (SAP, AS400, QuickBooks, or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Nice to Have Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or corporate finance environments Exposure to cash application automation or process improvement initiatives Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (not required) Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour Search managed by: Amaka Mozie Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
