role:Our Administrative Assistant performs highly confidential
administrative support work which relieves the Hospital
Administrator of minor and routine business details. Organizes
office operations. Performs administrative support work requiring
application of varied work methods and procedures. Work requires
familiarity with policies, practices, and procedures of the
facility.What you bring to the table:Education:High school diploma
or equivalent required.College level courses preferable but not
mandatory.Experience:Five (5) years of experience as a secretary or
administrative assistant, two of which must have been in support of
upper management in the private sector or private/public
partnerships.Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power
Point and Outlook & Internet.Ability to work with computers and the
necessary software typically used by the department.Ability to read
and communicate in English.High degree of empathetic listening,
tact and kindness toward others.The ability to communicate well
verbally.Excellent written and verbal
communication.Licenses/Certifications:None required.What you will
do: Maintains files, types correspondence and reports as needed and
assures completion of required paperwork.Serves as a secretary and
takes minutes for the Governing Council meetings and other meetings
as assigned, keeps the records of such meetings.Handles a variety
of mailings and distributions within the Facility as well as to the
community.Responsible for keeping calendars and scheduling of
activities.Preparation and handling of documentation and materials
for Governing Board meetings.Collects, tracks, and ensures signing
of timesheets of pertinent staff.Checks, prioritizes, and relays
mail (both e-mail and hard copies).Must be able to apply principles
of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent
situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may
call for deviations.Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a
specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different
factual situationsMust be alert at all times; pay close attention
to details.Must be able to work under stress on a regular or
continuous basis.Perform other duties as assigned.Wellpath is an
