Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work within the non-profit sector, supporting individuals at risk of homelessness. As a Contract to permanent position, this role provides a pathway to long-term employment for the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Support program operations by providing administrative assistance, including managing schedules, correspondence, and documentation. • Answer incoming calls professionally and assist callers with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department. • Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain organized and up-to-date records. • Serve as the first point of contact by handling receptionist duties, welcoming visitors, and ensuring a positive experience. • Assist with compliance by maintaining client files and ensuring adherence to program guidelines and regulations. • Coordinate meetings and workshops, including scheduling, preparing materials, and providing logistical support. • Facilitate communication between team members, participants, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery. • Monitor and report on progress, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual updates as required. • Collaborate with property managers, participants, and community partners to address housing-related issues. • Support team efforts in achieving service delivery goals and outcomes by actively contributing to project implementation.• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within the non-profit sector. • Strong skills in answering inbound calls, managing schedules, and performing receptionist duties. • Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to read, understand, and apply policies, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. • Competency in organizing events, coordinating services, and supporting team operations. • Familiarity with housing-related processes and services is a plus. • Commitment to continuous learning and participation in training opportunities.
