Education - High School Diploma or GED Skills - Administrative Experience Job Description The primary function of this position to provide confidential executive level secretarial management support to the Director of the Office of Educational Supports. The position performs a full range of executive secretarial and related duties using considerable independent judgment in making decisions and coordinating activities for the office. Duties include interpreting the Director's point of view; interpreting policies and procedures, and the ability to ress the mission of the office to the performance of secretarial support activities. The position requires the transmittal of confidential and/or sensitive information. Position Description Required Education and Experience Education Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school. Experience Five years of administrative support experience where use of a personal computer to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, etc., or to enter/retrieve/update information is an essential part of the work, including two years equivalent to advanced (8) level administrative support work, Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8; or, one year equivalent to a Secretary 9, Legal Secretary 9, or Senior Executive Management Assistant 9. itional Requirements and Information Certain positions may require a criminal history background check.
