games---Michigan has it all! Job Summary/Description: WILX-TV is
looking for a dynamic full-time News Anchor/MMJ. In addition to
being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need
to be a team leader. The ideal candidate will display
professionalism and personality, both on and off the air. Our
anchors are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows
and produce content regularly. Candidates must also possess strong
presentation skills, strong work ethic, broad knowledge of current
affairs, the ability to work effectively with a team of
professionals, have an aptitude for social media, and passion for
innovation. Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the
following: --- Produce and write newscasts as needed--- Find
creative ways to showcase newscast--- Anchor newscast--- Report
news stories--- Oversee news content--- Digital --- Other duties as
assigned Qualifications/Requirements: --- Experience with Adobe CC,
Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop--- Advanced skills in
Premiere and After Effects strongly preferred--- Ability to write
news stories, shoot and edit content that grabs viewer's
attention--- A minimum of 1 year of experience in broadcast is
preferred--- Demo reel of your best work is required Personal
Characteristics - --- A passion for news, on-air and online--- Must
display professional and personality both on and off the air---
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail in all
responsibilities--- Must have the ability to be a team leader---
Possess strong presentation skills--- Must have strong work
ethic--- Broad knowledge of current affairs--- Must have the
ability to work with a team of professionals--- Have an aptitude

communication skills--- Must have the ability to adlib and tell
