The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish, and a willingness to travel as needed. Client Details Our client is a well-established and highly respected general contractor based in the Detroit market. Known for delivering high-quality work across a diverse portfolio, they specialize in both industrial and commercial construction projects. As they continue to grow, they are looking to add a Project Manager to their team-someone with experience in both business development and estimating-to help drive projects forward and play a key role in managing their strong pipeline of upcoming work. Description Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision. Prepare scope documents per trade and include scope and project-specific information. Oversee the beginning of each turn-key project, including details like permit submission and design evaluations Reviews project proposal, drawings, and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project Collaborate with the architect and construction crew to ensure the feasibility of each project Conduct meetings on-site with the architect, client, and construction crew Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Willing to travel Profile Successful Senior Project Manager 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or someone who's looking to take the steps into project management A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related area of study is preferred Significant and Diverse project experience with a light industrial or commercial focus Ability to run projects from conception to completion Exposure to Estimating and Business Development Effective Communication Skills Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details Strong Personal Drive to take on several challenges and grow professionally Willing to travel Job Offer Competitive salary $100-$140K (based on experience) with significant bonus potential Clear career progression and promotion path 401k Match Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Car allowance If you're interested, please apply with the link below.
