Job Description Transdev in Lansing, Michigan is seeking an experienced A-Level Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy. /n /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n/n /n - Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on diesel engines. /n /n - Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance. /n /n - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs /n /n - Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. /n /n - Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel engines. /n /n - Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications. /n /n - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge /n /n - Other duties as required. /n /n/n /n Qualifications: /n /n/n /n - 4 or more years of experience as an automative service technician. /n /n - ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided /n /n - Mechanic’s Tool Set /n /n - Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
