Job Description Job Description Job Title: Apprentice Electrician Job Description We are seeking a diligent and skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The role involves running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls, and installing EMT pipes ranging from 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. The candidate will ensure precise and neat installation of new wiring and fixtures to maintain steady voltage. Additionally, the role includes installing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, appliances, and other components as the project nears completion. Responsibilities Run pipe and pull wire efficiently. Rough walls and install EMT pipes (1-1.5 inches in diameter). Install light fixtures, switches, outlets, and other elements. Ensure precise and neat installation of wiring and fixtures. Read and understand blueprints and schematics for accurate installation. Essential Skills Apprentice Electrician's License issued by the State of Michigan. Minimum of a 2nd year apprentice electrician standing. Experience in running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls with MC cables, and installing EMT pipes. Commercial/industrial electrical experience. Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Verified Apprentice card. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work on a new construction project based in Novi, MI, within a 100,000 sq. foot entertainment complex. The environment will involve installing and building panels, running pipes, pulling wires, installing light fixtures, and roughing walls with MC cables. The project is expected to last until the end of October, with potential opportunities for permanent retention depending on project completion. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime during the week or on Saturdays, ranging from 40-55 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Novi, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
