An elementary school in Sterling Heights, MI, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a contract role running from the start of the school year through the end of the school year (ASAP to June 5, 2026). This full-time position (35 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work onsite, supporting students with special needs in a resource setting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized instruction and support for elementary students with diverse learning needs. - Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success. - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and compliance with state and federal special education regulations. - Participate in meetings and training as required.
