(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide skilled nursing care
in a K-12 educational setting, offering specialized support for a
preschool and childcare environment. This leave contract
opportunity involves part-time, half-day shifts primarily focused
on one-on-one nursing support to a student requiring medical
assistance. Location: Rochester, MI Setting: Preschool and
Childcare within a K-12 School Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
one-on-one nursing support to a student with complex medical needs
- Perform G-tube suctioning and tracheostomy (trach) care with
proficiency and adherence to safety protocols - Assist with
toileting as needed, though minimal toileting support is
anticipated - Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of care
provided - Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers
to ensure continuity of care and student safety Schedule / Dates /
Hours: - Half-day shift: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM - Specific dates needed:
February: 3, 9, 12, 17, 19 March: 5, 11 April: 7, 9, 10 May: 7
Qualifications: - Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure -
Experience providing nursing care in a school setting, especially
with pediatric and preschool-aged children - Competence in
performing G-tube suctioning and trach care is essential - Ability
to provide compassionate, individualized care with attention to
safety and compliance standards - Willingness to undergo
fingerprinting and obtain a district badge as part of onboarding
requirements Additional Information: - District badge and onsite
fingerprinting are required before starting - Sub acceptance
deadline is until 8:00 AM or the start time of the school day for
