minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

Teacher specializing in Autism and Behavior to support early
childhood learners in a dedicated educational setting. This role is
ideal for professionals who bring expertise in creating
individualized educational experiences and behavioral interventions
for young children with special needs. Position Details: Location:
Grand Rapids, MI Setting: Early Childhood School Contract Type: ESY
(Extended School Year) Duration: May 2026 to June 2026 Schedule:
Full-time, 5 days per week Number of Openings: 1 Number of School
Sites: 1 Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement specialized
education plans tailored to meet the unique needs of young learners
on the autism spectrum or with behavioral challenges. Utilize
evidence-based behavioral strategies to support positive student
outcomes and classroom engagement. Collaborate with educational and
clinical teams to assess progress and adapt interventions as
necessary. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and
behavior interventions. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning
environment that encourages development and growth. Desired
Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Special Education,
with additional credentials as an Autism or Behavior Specialist
highly preferred. Experience working in early childhood educational
settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques
and special education laws. Excellent communication skills for
collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary
teams. Commitment to promoting a nurturing and effective learning
