Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist opportunity is available in Detroit, MI,
serving two secondary schools. This contract position requires a
licensed professional with a valid LARA School Psychologist
credential and prior experience working in school settings. The
role focuses on supporting students and staff through psychological
assessments, interventions, and consultations. Key Qualifications:
- Valid LARA School Psychologist credential - Previous experience
working as a School Psychologist in educational settings - Ability
to work on-site at two secondary schools with a schedule allowing
three days on-site weekly - Strong skills in psychological
evaluation, counseling, and student support Responsibilities: -
Conduct psychological assessments and provide evaluations for
students to identify learning or behavioral needs - Collaborate
with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention
strategies - Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP)
meetings and contribute to student planning - Support Extended
School Year (ESY) services starting immediately, with a possibility
to extend support into the Fall term - Maintain accurate
documentation and comply with state and district regulations
