Job Description:
SUMMARY:Supports day to day commercial activities for assigned
business unit(s) by maintaining effective client relationships,
maintaining strong relationship with operational team(s) and the
external market-based Business Development Managers.Works closely
with other laboratory staff, customers, and vendors to execute
technical service projects. Interprets procedures and guide
customer to the appropriate program of work.Professionally
communicates with customers to ensure that all projects-based work
is completed properly and meets or exceeds expectations. Manages
multiple projects running concurrently. Interprets project results
and delivers value creating reports in the appropriate
timeframe.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:Commercial---Triages incoming leads ensuring
quotes are delivered in a timing manner.---Creates new client
introductions and acquisition through various targeting
means.---Manages opportunity data ensuring accurate sales
funnel(s).---Leverages defined sales processes, create required
documents, and utilize systems appropriately.---Challenges
operational staff to balance technical needs with commercial
requirements in mind.---Maintains connection to the pulse of the
existing client base to support account budgeting and action
planning required if actual results deviation from plan throughout
the year.---Maintains a high level of cooperation and communication
with all peers, colleagues in laboratories, as well as corporate
personnel in person and remotely.---Ensures staff and clients
understand deliverables and dates (manage expectations).---Collects
project specific feedback and leverage post-test client interaction
as addition lead generation / demand creation activity.---Interacts
with current or potential customers to recommend solutions and
build relationships.---Communicates new ideas and suggestions for
improved efficiency and service offerings.---Understands the
project estimate and manage time to ensure project
profitability.---Contributes to the overall growth, stability, and
profitability of the organization.---Drives brand recognition
through industry involvement.---Understands the project estimate

profitability.Technical---Executes technical service projects,
including testing, monitoring, consulting and education.---Creates
technical reports in a timely fashion.---Interacts with current or
potential customers to establish needs, develop appropriate
protocols, conduct analyses, and interpret results.---Recommends
measures to improve procedures and the use of
equipment.---Authorizes, approves, and issues quotations and test
reports.---Gives opinions and interpretations.---Operates equipment
and perform testing.Team---Maintains project records, center's
database and service schedule.---Maintains a high level of
cooperation and communication with all employees, peers and
colleagues.---Analyzes and resolves, or assists in solving work
related problems.---Works within the requirements of a defined
quality system.---Performs facility maintenance, repair,
restoration, and organization, as required.---Orders facility
supplies, as required.---Sets up and ships out small parcels and
freight, as required.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:---Bachelors degree or
better in Engineering or Packaging.EXPERIENCE:---Minimum of one (1)
year of packaging testing experience.---An understanding of
packaging materials, processes, or the supply chain.---An
understanding of how real-life supply chain hazards relates to
laboratory distribution testing is preferred.---Minimum of one (1)
year working directly with customers/clients.#LI-RA1
