43551. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS A TECHNICAL PROJECT
ADMINISTRATOR AT SIGMA: ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY: The Technical
Project Administrator works with internal project teams to ensure
all administrative duties relating to technical project functions
are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. The Administrator
prepares packages for use by our teams of Field Techs, Drafters and
Designers from the initial inquiry through the processing and final
design and/or permitting. Assists Supervisors and Project Engineers
to coordinate project activities, collaborating with other project
team members, tracking, and recording project milestones and
recording progress against corresponding goals and metrics.
Essential Job Functions: - Pre-production staging (office
organization & entry of work orders), preparation/printing and
dissemination of work assignment packages for Engineers, Designers
& Field Technicians. - Update and maintain production, metrics, and
milestone/schedule reports from Excel and Data management systems;
track, audit, and report the status of work orders and permits. -
Must be able to understand, and edit 2-D Civil type designs in CAD
plan and profile views (AutoCAD, MicroStation, DDS, ESRI) -
Differentiate between roads in a variety of areas and states – US
Routes, State Routes, County Roads, Toll, private and cities
streets. - Final work package close out and filing - Collaborate
with others, including co-workers and clients, as needed to devise
best solutions. - Professionally communicate and coordinate between
departments - Research Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), Right
of Way (ROW) and Easements for all permits required for each
project. - Follow up throughout the project to assure timely
acquisition of permits. - Assist Supervisors in coordinating
project activities. - Provide high-quality, efficient service with
a focus on helpfulness and teamwork. - Flexible, proactive, and
resourceful when dealing with issues that may arise, taking
ownership to get projects done, and coming prepared with potential
solutions when presenting problems. - Interpret field information
gathered manually or through software such as Katapult. - Perform
tracing function in Katapult. - Able to edit PDF's and submit
deliverables to clients/municipalities. - Knowledge of commonly
used concepts, practices, and procedures in administrative support
and will rely on standards, instructions, and pre-established
guidelines to perform the functions of the job. - Other projects
and operational duties as assigned. Competencies/Skills: Computer

Office Software | Katapult Requirements: - Education: High School
Diploma or Equivalent is required - Experience: 2 years of
experience in an administrative capacity. - Strong organizational
skills, attention to detail and experience in office policy and
process management - Excellent time management skills and the
ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize. - Strong oral and
written communication skills - Must be discrete; a commitment to
maintaining company confidentiality and privacy guidelines is a
requirement. - Ability to determine and describe the scope of work
based on CAD prints and other customer documentation. - Ability to
read CAD plans and profile drawings. - Cadastral Map Reading
(skillset on how to read plat maps and of the like) - Ability to
manipulate CAD drawings. - Ability to maintain production and
quality metrics on all assigned duties and responsibilities. -
Problem solving skills and good judgement. - Ability to collaborate
with a multi department team. - Able to pass a background
check/drug test/driving record check. - Computer literate –
especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - Ability to learn and
operate proprietary software and other computer systems. -
Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license and
insurance - Authorized to work in the United States Physical
Requirements: - Must be able to endure frequent, lengthy periods of
sedentary work and sit for prolonged periods of time, including at
a desk. - Must be able to utilize a computer keyboard, computer
monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time. - Must have
the physical ability to perform activities such as preparing and
analyzing data and figures, transcribing notes, and viewing a
computer terminal; these activities require close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus. - Must have the physical ability to
express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and convey
detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers
accurately, often in a group setting. - Must have the ability to
