We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, contributing to our technically advanced manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes using Mazatrol Code Edits on the controller. Perform setups, tool changes, and offsets independently. Read and interpret blueprints and guide sheets. Conduct basic inspections using standard measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge pins to verify specifications. Provide feedback to leaders to enhance manufacturing processes. Setup gauging and use basic inspection equipment to meet client specifications. Essential Skills 4 years of experience as a CNC Set up Tech / Machinist on lathes. Proficiency in Mazatrol Code Edits and blueprint reading. Ability to perform own setups, tool changes, and offsets with proper tool touch-off skills. Basic math skills including fractions to decimals and calculator usage. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC Mill & Lathe Mazak experience using Integrix Controller. Work Environment Enjoy working in a very clean, climate-controlled facility built in 2021. Positions are available on both the 1st shift (5am - 3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am/2am, depending on 8/10 hour shifts), with a 10% shift premium for the 2nd shift. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift for 2-4 weeks based on skill level. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with the option for Saturday work. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wixom, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $56160.00/yr.
