Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are seeking
a skilled and experienced Electric Motor Winder to join our team.
This role focuses on the rewinding and electrical repair of
electric motors, generators, and other electro-mechanical
equipment. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, a
strong eye for detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality
workmanship. This is an opportunity to work in a well-equipped,

accredited, and we use EASA Redesign software, which reflects our
commitment to quality, engineering precision, and continuous
improvement. Key Responsibilities Rewind a variety of
electro-mechanical equipment, including: Three-phase AC motors
(random and form wound) DC fields and armatures Wound rotors,
alternators, and transformers Record winding data, take accurate
measurements, and document winding characteristics Perform proper
insulating and varnishing techniques, including VPI (Vacuum
Pressure Impregnation) processes Operate and interpret results from
specialized testing and winding equipment, such as: Surge testers,
core-loss testers, winding machines, and bake/burnout ovens Conduct
electrical diagnostics and core testing throughout the rewinding
process Ensure all work meets EASA and internal quality standards
Assist in mentoring junior personnel and contributing to a
collaborative team environment Qualifications Education: High
School Diploma or GED required Experience: Minimum 2 years in
electric motor rewinding (3-5 years strongly preferred) Experience
under a Class A or B Winder is a plus Certifications: Valid
Driver's License required; CDL and DOT health card preferred
Preferred: Experience in an EASA-accredited shop or familiarity
with EASA best practices Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge
of electric motor theory, components, and winding design Proficient
in reading technical drawings, schematics, and following documented
procedures Able to use micrometers, calipers, and other precision
measuring tools accurately Comfortable using work order systems on
computers or tablets Capable of analyzing winding failures and
suggesting redesigns as needed Detail-oriented with a commitment to
safety, precision, and high standards Physical Requirements Ability
to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, reach,
twist, and perform repetitive hand/arm tasks Good vision and
hand-eye coordination for detailed electrical work Willingness to
work in a typical shop environment with exposure to noise, rotating
equipment, and various temperatures Working Conditions Work is
performed in a clean, organized, and ventilated motor shop Standard
daytime hours with occasional overtime or weekend work based on
project demand Performance Metrics Quality and conformance of
completed motor work to customer and EASA standards Efficiency and
timeliness of job completion Accuracy of documentation and data
recording Adherence to shop safety and cleanliness standards
