Job Description:

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company in Medical sector.

• Inspire Physicians to reflect Sparrow's Hospital mission, vision and values.
• Champion the continuous improvement of patient care to advance best care and other safety, quality/outcomes, satisfaction, and efficiency initiatives throughout Sparrow Hospital.
• Work cooperatively with the Chief Medical Information Officer, system CMQO and operational leadership to provide Physician leadership in advancing clinical changes.
• Facilitate the design of multidisciplinary clinical systems for improved patient care by acquisition and use of extant and emerging health care technology.
• Build consensus, commitment, and effective collaboration among Physicians, clinical staff, and clinical departments throughout the Hospital in order to assure measurable improvement and outcomes in all of the Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable, Patient-centered care dimensions.
• Sponsor the development of clinical and operational policies and procedures through membership on various committees and the senior leadership team of the Hospital.
• Serve as an active participant in the hospital strategic planning and budgeting processes, conveying needs of Physicians, nurses and patients tempered by economics, staffing, and political considerations.
• Advise and counsel hospital medical staff and all Physicians throughout the Hospital. Work collaboratively with l hospital clinical leadership and give voice to local issues and concerns.
• Work with the Office of Vice President of Legal Affairs in strategic programmatic development and deployment opportunities aimed at reducing risk throughout the hospital.
• Participate with marketing/public relations leadership in the development of clinical content for marketing materials, aligning medical staff members with the ­­­­­Sparrow brand, and improving the communication modalities within ­­­­­­Sparrow's Physician Community.
• Work the--Sparrow Foundation and operational/clinical leadership to develop strategies to align philanthropic opportunities with clinical initiatives in the Hospital.
• Act as a medical spokesperson in local, state and regional, national and international medical affairs; represent Sparrow Hospital as requested.
  • --Minimum of 7 years of proven Physician executive experience in complex delivery system--
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.--
  • Demonstrated results in clinical integration/clinical changes and clinical IT initiatives.
