If you do decide to apply for the Store Director position, it will be unlike any other job you?ve had—especially if you?ve worked in other grocery stores. Here?s a sneak peek at what you can expect to be doing in this role:

• Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers and a positive working environment for employees
• Ensure and maintain appropriate functioning of entire store operations
• Prepare weekly sales/labor projections, execute to plan, and consistently achieve budgeted payroll percentage
• Oversee department managers to assure accountability for their departments
• Hire, develop, supervise and evaluate department managers and staff

Think you have what it takes? Here?s what you?ll need to prove it to us:

• Bachelor?s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years? professional experience; 5 – 7 years of grocery retail experience in overall store operations preferred
• Experience managing a team of department managers and support staff
• P&L and inventory experience
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
