The Director Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is responsible for delivering the tools, practices, policies, analyses and reports necessary to manage risks across the organization. This position closely coordinates with leadership to ensure risk management strategies are aligned with the organization's objectives and strategic initiatives.Day-to-Day Role:* Lead the identification and quantification of key and emerging risks to the organization* Develop and oversee the strategy, design and implementation of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management program.* Define the long-term risk transfer strategy plan and determine the insurance structure between third party insurers and utilization of the captive* Lead strategy discussions, negotiations and placement of global insurance coverage consistent with the long-term risk strategy (both captive and third party)* Participate in leadership role as an officer of Dart's captive insurance company* Aggregate relevant risk information from across the company and provide context to risk reporting to ensure communication of appropriate risk information to relevant stakeholders.* Monitor risk operations to ensure compliance with all insurance, legal, audit and regulatory obligations* Drive a culture of risk awareness into the business through developing and championing change to processes, people and systems, as needed* Seek ways to optimize risk in the organization as a competitive business advantage.* Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of risk department staff* Responsible for employee development, discipline, performance appraisals, and administration of policiesCore Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management or related field of study AND;One of the following:* Advanced certification in Risk Management (ex: CRM, ARM, CPCU, or other relevant professional certification), OR* Master's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management or related field of study

* Fifteen (15) years of relevant industry experience with specific experience in the areas of: regulatory compliance, commercial lines of property, casualty and workers' compensation programs, and claims management.* Seven (7) years of management experience* Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain risk and insurance concepts* Excellent analytical and reasoning skills* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets or Power BI* Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities* Travel up to 10% domestically* Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license* Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hirePreferred Skills and Qualifications:* Experience with high-deductible insurance programs, large claim portfolios across multiple jurisdictions* Knowledge and experience implementing data-driven risk enterprise management programming integrating various technology tools and systems, including risk management information systems* Master's degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management or related field of studyDart Container is a drug-free workplace.
