Job DescriptionRemote RoleSUMMARYThe Manager of EHS & Risk Data
Analytics, Insights and Systems will work collaboratively with our
EHS Director, Programs, Governance and Professional and our
Director of Risk Services to proactively supporting reporting,
score cards, and data insights for Environmental, Health, and
Safety, our insurance and risk financing programs, the loss
allocation programs, loss analysis and reporting functions, and
supports the various financial and reporting aspects of the risk
management department. - This position will also be responsible for
all Covid reporting including scorecards and reports. - This
position supports data analytic activities out of our RMIS system
(Riskonnect) and our actuarial data visual tool (OW Lighthouse). -
This position will oversee the administration of our PowerBI
reporting, Riskonnect, Lighthouse, and Intelex (EMIS) tools. - -
This position will support all current and legacy claim runs and
data need to conduct quarterly actuarial assessments. - This
position will also be engaged in our insurance renewals (2 major
cycles annually) and provide data collection, analytics, and
insight required for renewals and underwriting. - This position
will also assist in analytic needs for AAP's captive insurance
company, Neuse River Insurance Company. - This position reports to
the Director of EHS Programs, Governance and Professional and will
have 1-2 direct reports. - This position will have a dotted line to
the Director of Risk Services. -It will also support the functional
SVP and the entire EHS Leadership team with data and risk systems
needs. - This position will also sit on the Covid Project
Management Office team providing analytics support to the Covid LT
and EXCOMM. - This position will be a member of the EHS/Risk
Leadership Team. - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include
the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures the accurate and timely distribution of various reports
such as; loss allocation charges and credits, safety metrics,
safety scorecards, risk management scorecard, and other reports to
senior management (regular & ad hoc). - This position is
responsible for over 40 critical reports and dashboards, some of
which are updated multiple times per week.
- Works with Risk Data Analyst to create live data sources and
data visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Will oversee strategy for data lake / data cloud
- Loss analysis and loss trends including benchmarking and
application of normalizing data
- Review all risk financing and insurance documentation to ensure
all policies are being administered in an accurate fashion.
- Own all data aspects of our insurance renewal process.
- Manage all day to day insurance, loss allocation, claims data
issues. -
- Liaise with accounting to ensure premiums, deductibles and loss
reserves are properly reflected in the accounting records.
- Manage certificates of insurance and liability transfer and
indemnity sections of third-party contracts and make recommended
changes.
- Take a leadership role in the review contracts between AAP and
outside vendors and determines the scope and provisions of all
insurance required by AAP.
- Prepare and monitor the budget of premium and loss allocations
for all existing properties; update and prepare variance analysis
as requested
- Work closely with the EHS and Risk Management staff in the
identification of loss control needs across AAP and the development
of loss control programs.
- Assist in the various insurance renewal processes by compiling
accurate and timely underwriting data and submissions, reviewing
and analyzing quotes and development premium allocations. - Ensure
the schedule of locations is accurate and complete.
- Assist in administrative problem solving, program/project
planning, development, and execution of stated goals and
objectives.
- Assist in the creation of various communication vehicles such
as manuals, internal web pages, and job aids.
- Act as the primary POC with Oliver Wyman (3rd party actuary)
and the accounting team
- Act as the primary POC with Marsh captive for reporting and
actuarial needs
- The position will supervise data administration of our key
systems including Intelex and Riskonnect
- Act as the primary POC with other analytics teams within
Advance and 3rd party contractors QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job

communication skills. - EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's
degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Risk Management or
Accounting/Finance; andMinimum of 8 years experience in the risk
management, EHS, and/or IT field; or experience in other functions
that may translate well to risk, insurance, and EHS. SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIESThis position may have 1-2 direct report. - - This
position will also oversee interns and students conducting data
