As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a PMHNP/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner position. Position Description:This position serves as an advanced practice nurse in the area of Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization psychiatric mental health nursing working in both direct and indirect patient care activities. Direct care functions include providing physical and psychiatric assessments, therapeutic interventions, and case management services. Indirect care functions include assuming role as a researcher, consultant, liaison, and educator. Prescriptive authority is accomplished through collaboration with a psychiatrist. Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements:

• Must be an RN, licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. Work requires advanced practice nursing knowledge with a Masters in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Holds a Nurse Practitioner Specialty License by the Michigan Department of Commerce and Industry, PMHNP
• Must meet and maintain credentialing requirements and maintain membership to Hospital's Medical Staff.
