Conditional Employment Requirements: -Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a criminal background check (including fingerprinting), a physical exam, and verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record. Must be able to pass a physical exam annually. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. - -Responsibilities: -Under the supervision of a Coordinator or Supervisor, serves as a master's level professional clinician performing a wide range of direct and indirect mental health and co-occurring substance abuse services within a specific program or area of assignment. Conducts therapy, facilitates clinical groups, recommends referrals to various programs, program components and other services in the community. Consults with services providers. Responsible for extensive case documentation. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI's mission, policies and procedures. Provides team leadership, in consultation with Coordinator or Supervisor, for referrals, treatment planning, discharges, clinical interventions, connection with community providers, staffing schedule and training. -Requirements: -Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required. One year experience (professional or paraprofessional) in treating or working with persons with mental illness required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience working with persons with mental illness required. -One or more years of professional experience providing crisis intervention techniques, determining hospital eligibility performing clinical -assessments/evaluations, and brief counseling techniques is preferred. -Conditional Employment Requirements: Possession of appropriate State of Michigan credential is required. -Must pass background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, fingerprinting, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, educational background check - and verification of an acceptable work history. -May be required to possess a valid Michigan driver's license. -Access to reliable means of transportation for job related use required. -Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a criminal background check (including fingerprinting), a physical exam, and verification of an acceptable Michigan driving record. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen. - -Salary/Hours: -$26.93- $30.56 an hour, *Shift differential offered for this position*20 hours a week Saturday and Sunday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. &.
