TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Lansing, Michigan, 48912! Pay Information $2,858 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: State license required by start date Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - Must have travel experience - Must have telemetry experience - Must have experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Traveler must be available to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule - Able to work with patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: Contract must continue into January. Earliest end date is January 3. Traveler may request one holiday off. Local applicants accepted for one contract with the same pay for locals. Traveler must be available for 2 of 3 major holidays, including the day before and after. RTO needs to be submitted at the time of profile and will not be approved after the contract is signed. Blocked scheduling is in effect during specified dates. Will float to all adult acute care units, including medical-surgical and step-down. Years of experience required: 2 years preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirement: 3 weekends per 4-week schedule. Position involves floating within scope to meet facility needs. Pending license applications are accepted, but must be active by start date. All required certifications must be active by start date. Modules are non-billable; please plan for 5 hours outside of 12-hour shifts. Patient population predominantly consists of adults and geriatrics. Daily census is estimated to be around 30 patients. Unit supports various interdisciplinary services, including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. Patient diagnoses include pre- and post-operative cardiac catheterizations, stroke patients, and various surgical procedures. General medical/surgical and behavioral health rehabilitation are also part of the unit specialties. All candidates must be able to provide proof of HS level education.
