ER RN Job Details - Location: Lansing, MI 48912 (Michigan healthcare jobs) - Facility: Emergency Room, Level I Trauma Center - Contract Type: Travel Nursing Contract - Start Date: November 11, 2025 - End Date: February 10, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30) - Hours per Week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule - Floating: Yes, to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed - On Call: No - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1890-$1940 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (required by start date; compact licenses not accepted) - Minimum 1.5 years of recent ER nursing experience in a Level I Trauma Center (2 years preferred) - Current certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) by AHA - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - EPIC EMR charting experience required - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Proof of high school education required - Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays during contract - Completion of required modules prior to start ER RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department, with primary assignment in behavioral health - Respond to trauma and medical emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team - Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed - Manage high patient ratios (typically 1:5-6, may be up to 1:8 during peak times) - Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing evaluation for patients of all ages - Administer medications, IVs, blood products; manage arterial and central lines - Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; provide procedural and continuous IV sedation as needed - Document patient care using EPIC EMR - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and social services - Ensure compliance with hospital policies and documentation requirements Ready to join a top Michigan healthcare team and make a difference in emergency nursing?
