Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of one year of Level 1 trauma experience for this Magnet and teaching facility assignment. Responsibilities - Work in a short-term acute care hospital in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department - Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams for the Emergency Department and inpatient units - Shifts are day, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offered as either 4x8 or 5x8 hour shifts - Every third weekend rotation is required - No call or floating required - Uses Epic EMR, with experience preferred but not required - Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a large, multidisciplinary team - Orientation and Epic EMR training provided - Hunter green scrubs required - Local candidates are accepted - 5-day maximum RTO per assignment, all time off must be requested at the time of application - Returning staff must wait 12 months before returning - Free parking is available with badge access Requirements - Minimum of 1 year Level 1 trauma experience required - ARRT certification required - Active BLS required - Proof of high school education is required - Surgery experience preferred - First-time travelers are accepted - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632154.
