Job Description Job Description We areseeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant toprovide coverage at a hospital in Lansing, MI. This role involves bothinpatient and surgical responsibilities, requiring advanced procedural skillsand the ability to manage patients independently in collaboration with thesurgical team. PositionDetails - Shift Schedule: - 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM onsite daily - 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM daily call coverage - Weekend Requirements: Yes - On-Call Requirements: Yes - Procedures: Vein harvesting (required), arterial bypass, bypass surgery - Potential Surgical Volume: Up to 1 surgery per day - Patient Setting: Hospital-based, including ICU support - EMR: Cerner Requirements - Active Michigan License at time of name clear (IMLC not accepted) - Board Certification (NP or PA) - Vein harvesting experience required - Prior ICU and cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred - Active DEA registration - COVID-19 vaccination required Lansing,MI, is the capital of Michigan and a vibrant city known for its mix ofgovernment, education, and healthcare industries.
