Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI
Technologist for an outpatient evening shift at a high-volume Level
I trauma center, with ARRT certification and BLS required.
Responsibilities - Position is based in an outpatient MRI
department with no floating or call requirements - Work schedule is
Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM - Patient population
includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and
geriatrics - High-volume Level I trauma center with
musculoskeletal, neuro, and body imaging cases - Procedures
performed include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine,
musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo
imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2
weighted images - IV starts, PACS usage, and contrast
administration required - Epic is used for charting and Epic
experience is preferred - First-time travelers are accepted for
this position - No local radius rule; local candidates are accepted
at the same rate as travelers - Free parking is provided with badge
access - Wine-colored scrubs required - All requested time off must
be submitted with application and is limited to 5 days per
assignment - Returning staff must wait 12 months before reapplying
- Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start -
Training in Epic provided during orientation Requirements - Minimum
of 1 year MRI Technologist experience required - Active state
license required by start date, if applicable - BLS and ARRT
certification required - Proof of high school level education
required - Level I trauma experience preferred - Must be
experienced with IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration -
Epic EMR experience preferred but not required Benefits - High Pay
