VeeAR Health is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Lansing, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Shift Notes: Nights: 12 hrs: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend On Call Requirements: Yes Job Description: Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician’s orders, hospital policies and procedures; and departmental standards of care and standards of practice. Responsibilities: Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures. Evaluates patient/resident response to respiratory therapy and takes appropriate corrective action. Provides education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions. Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment. Maintains records, reports, and other documentation related to the work. Requirements 2 years of experience - Required Ventilator, Bipap, ICU, ER, and ABG trained therapist - Required ACLS - Preferred Certification Requirements BLS NBRC State License Requirements Michigan VeeAR Health Job ID 63250. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
