Technologist Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 1 year of experience as
a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) in a hospital or clinical
setting/n - High School Diploma or GED equivalent/n - BLS
certification (Basic Life Support)/n - Registered with the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)/n - Advanced registry
in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible/n - Ability to
rotate through all radiology departments/n - Strong communication
skills and a proactive, self-starter attitude/n - Commitment to
teamwork, flexibility, and customer service excellence in
healthcare/n - Must maintain required hours of continuing medical
education (CME)/n /n/nRadiology Technologist Responsibilities/n /n
- Perform computerized tomographic (CT) radiological procedures and
general diagnostic radiology exams/n - Explain imaging procedures
and prepare patients for CT scans/n - Review clinical data and
obtain additional patient history as needed/n - Prepare procedure
rooms and maintain adequate stock of medical supplies/n - Set up
and operate CT equipment, ensuring optimal diagnostic imaging
results/n - Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor
patients for adverse reactions/n - Assist radiologists in complex
sterile diagnostic procedures, including biopsies/n - Demonstrate
principles of radiation protection and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably
Achievable) techniques/n - Ensure high-quality image delivery into
PACS and complete study indexing in RIS/n - Document all procedures
and patient interactions in medical and radiology information
systems/n - Consistently demonstrate healthcare team standards of
excellence, including open communication, positive attitude, and
