Renewal Rehab, a leader in providing comprehensive therapy services in the United States, is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in various settings such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities, focusing on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients across the lifespan. As part of our team, you will contribute to patient recovery, helping to improve their health and enhance their quality of life. Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine their condition and needs. Develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet patient needs and goals. Provide therapy interventions to address speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders. Educate patients and family members about communication techniques and strategies to cope with speech and language impairments. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care, condition, progress, and concerns. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement comprehensive care plans. Stay current with new treatment techniques and technologies in speech therapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or in a team. Proficient in using electronic health records and speech therapy diagnostic tools. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
