Renewal Rehab, a leader in therapy services across nursing homes, rehab centers, and long-term care facilities nationwide, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to join a focused team that strives to improve patients' lives with innovative care and treatment strategies. The right candidate will assist in providing therapy services under the direction of an occupational therapist, enhancing patients ability to achieve their highest functional level. Assist licensed occupational therapists in assessing patients’ needs and responding to their care plans. Implement therapy treatments aimed at improving patients’ activities of daily living. Monitor patient progress and update care plans in collaboration with occupational therapists and healthcare staff. Educate patients and families on home exercises and adaptive equipment. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of personal information. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy. Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, practices, and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain patient confidentiality. Proficient in using therapy equipment and adapting environments for patients’ best therapeutic experience. 401k Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license as required by state law.
