Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/03/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Will be assigned in behavioral health most of the time • Work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule - may work 1 day, 2 days, or all 3 days of the weekend • No on-call responsibilities • Floating required to Pediatrics Emergency Department if necessary • Patient ratios: Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:4-7, could be up to 1:8 depending on patient volume and holidays • Care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Work in Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department • Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds • 36-hour orientation period with modules to be completed pre-start • Required certifications: State license (Michigan), ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, NIH • Preferred certification: ENPC • Minimum 2 years experience required with Level I trauma experience mandatory • EPIC charting experience required • Must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Preferred experience: continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, and triage • First-time travelers accepted • 5-day maximum RTO policy with all requests submitted at time of submission • Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted) • All certifications may not pend beyond contract start date Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive Level I Trauma Center that also functions as a designated Stroke Center and Heart Center.
