Job Description Job Description Night Nurse - LPN or RN - New Graduates Accepted About the Role This is a full-time, on-site Night Nurse position (LPN or RN) at a city-owned 40-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with an attached 18-bed Assisted Living. The facility emphasizes high-quality resident care and strong staffing ratios. The Night Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care during overnight hours, including monitoring residents' health status, administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with residents and families, and coordinating with healthcare team members. The role includes ensuring care plans are followed, safeguarding resident health and safety, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Key Responsibilities Monitor resident health and vital signs Administer medications accurately Document and chart within required standards Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff Implement care plans and oversee resident safety overnight Respond promptly to emergent or urgent situations Uphold infection control and regulatory safety practices Qualifications Valid nursing license as an LPN or RN in the state of Nebraska Strong skills in resident care, medication administration, and monitoring Proficient in documentation and electronic/paper charting Effective communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of healthcare safety regulations and infection control protocols Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and compassionately CPR and First Aid certification preferred Previous experience in long-term care or healthcare preferred Shift & Differentials Shifts: 3×12 hr shifts per week Rotation: Every 3rd weekend Every 3rd holiday Night Shift: 18:00-06:30 Differentials: Evenings: $1.50/hr Nights: $2.50/hr Weekends: $2.00/hr Benefits Medical: PPO or High Deductible Savings; 80% employer / 20% employee Dental & Vision: Employee responsibility Additional Insurances: Available as add-ons Retirement: 3% match after 1 year Disability (Short/Long Term): Paid by facility Life Insurance: $25,000 policy paid by facility PTO: Accrual based on years of experience Company Description We are one of the leading healthcare staffing companies in the US.
