Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and
minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who

is available for a Radiologic Technologist skilled in imaging
procedures, offering an opportunity to apply expertise in
radiologic techniques in a Sterling Heights, MI location. This
contract role functions under the guidance of a Radiologist to
perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, ensuring high standards
of patient care and imaging quality. Key Responsibilities: Explain
examination procedures and prepare patients effectively for
radiologic evaluations. Review clinical information and perform the
appropriate radiologic examination using sound judgment. Prepare
procedure rooms and maintain necessary supplies, including sterile
equipment as required. Operate radiologic equipment manually to
obtain accurate diagnostic images, employing patient immobilization
techniques when necessary. Administer intravenous contrast media as
indicated, monitoring patients for reactions and providing
immediate care if needed. Adhere to radiation safety principles and
ALARA techniques, including patient shielding and dose reduction
strategies. Maintain infection control standards and patient
safety, privacy, and comfort throughout all procedures. Handle
documentation meticulously, including patient records, logs, and
radiology information systems (RIS and PACS). Provide guidance and
training to new hires and students, sharing expertise and
maintaining department standards. Collaborate with Radiologists to
confirm clinical protocols and ensure imaging quality aligns with
departmental expectations. Exhibit professionalism consistently by
engaging in effective communication, fostering innovation, and
respecting diversity. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist. Proficiency in
performing a wide range of radiologic procedures with accuracy.
Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care best practices.
Experience with RIS and PACS systems for image management and
documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills for patient
