Job Description:
Flexible Block Scheduling - Ongoing Oncology Coverage in
Michigan Practice Setting Dedicated Outpatient setting with a focus
on comprehensive cancer care. Extensive support staff, including 5
APPs on the inpatient team and 5 APPs at the clinic. Participation
and collaboration on a multidisciplinary Tumor Board. Schedule
Monday through Friday, standard business hours (8a-5p). Light call
rotation: 1 in 5 call ratio with weekday evening telephone call.
Weekend rounding is supported by an advanced practice provider
(APP). Procedures and Cases Perform FNA/Biopsy procedures as
required for patient diagnosis and treatment. Active role in
ordering all necessary tests, images, and prescribing medications.
Focus on Adult and Geriatric patient populations. Requirements
Board Certification or Board Eligibility (within 5 years) in
Oncology. Prefer Active Michigan State Licensure. Must hold active
BLS Certification. Case log demonstrating experience with
FNA/Biopsy procedures is necessary. Credentialing Requirements Full
credentialing is a 90-day process. Temporary Privileges Available
to get you practicing sooner.
