Endocrinologist openings in Grand Rapids, MI Located in the
heart of West Michigan Position Details 2 openings Practice Type:
Full-time, hospital-employed positions Clinical Scope: - Provide a
full range of endocrinology services - Split time between
outpatient clinic and inpatient consults Team Composition: - Join a
multidisciplinary team of six Endocrinologists, two Diabetologists,
Advanced Practice Providers, Pharmacist, Care Managers, RNs,
Diabetes Educators, and other staff - Supported by a large Primary
Care network with 82 sites of care Essential Functions Assess and
monitor the medical needs of patients and their significant others
Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care while ensuring consistent
coverage of the caseload Collaborate in the development of policies
and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care
Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Providers and other
delegated team members Evaluate and address educational needs of
patients, families, and staff, delegating as appropriate Maintain
documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Communicate
with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and
coordination of services Act as a patient and family advocate
Participate in clinical process improvement and quality initiatives
Contribute to achieving financial and patient satisfaction goals

(MD/DO) with licensure in Michigan Board Eligible/Board Certified
in Endocrinology Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology
Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced
