Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Lansing, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,910 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Lansing, Michigan, 48912! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: - ACLS - BCLS by AHA - PALS - TNCC - ENPC (preferred) - NIH Must-Have: - Level I trauma experience required - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - EPIC charting experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room specialty. The nurse will work night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts. The unit is currently experiencing high patient ratios. Travelers should expect ratios of 1:5-6, which could increase to 8 depending on patient volume. The candidate must be willing to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule. Two of the three major holidays must be worked, with one holiday off permissible. Required certifications include ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH. Experience in Level I trauma settings is mandatory. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the specialty. Preferred experience includes continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration. The unit accepts first-time travelers. High patient ratios and the nature of emergency care require adaptability and specialized skills. Candidates will need to demonstrate competency in the management of critical care situations. Electronic Medical Record experience, specifically with EPIC, is preferred.
