(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Support surgical procedures
in a fast-paced operating room environment by assisting the
surgical technologist and registered nurse with equipment
preparation and patient care. This role requires attention to
detail to ensure all instruments and supplies are ready and
functioning properly for each case. Working closely with the
surgeon, you will provide essential intraoperative assistance,
including tissue handling, hemostasis, and wound closure, to help
achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Prepare the
surgical suite by gathering and confirming all necessary supplies,
equipment, and instruments are sterile and operational. Assist the
surgeon during procedures using techniques such as proper draping,
retracting, suctioning, sponging, suturing, tissue handling,
cautery, and application of dressings. Ensure accurate charging of
supplies by coordinating with nursing and surgical technologist
staff. Support team members with patient transportation,
positioning, and comprehensive care within the operating room
setting. Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy,
physiology, and operative techniques relevant to assigned cases.
Desired Experience: Experience or training in operating room
nursing or surgical assisting. Familiarity with surgical
instruments and operating room protocols. Ability to work
efficiently as part of a surgical team. Strong attention to detail
and manual dexterity. Good communication skills and patient care
