Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Saginaw, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Saginaw, Michigan, 48601! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience, Neuro PCU experience preferred License: Active Michigan License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Work history relevant to the specialty - Skills checklist current to 1 year - 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years Description: The Registered Nurse provides direct care to patients using the nursing process. This includes ongoing assessment of the total patient. The RN provides interventions to treat the presenting symptoms and evaluates the effect of nursing interventions and patient responses. The RN functions as a team leader/member and resource to others. The RN delegates, oversees, and provides direction to support staff. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to establish goals and outcomes for each patient. The RN is responsible for meeting the needs of all types of patients. Regularly assesses patient needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care and accepted standards of evidence-based nursing practice. Provides direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, education, responding to alarms, assisting with transfers, and other duties as appropriate. Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care. The RN is knowledgeable and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as hospital-specific policies and procedures relating to care provided.
