Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lansing, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,356 per week Shift Information: Nights - 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of critical care experience required, pediatric or emergency department experience required License: State license required Certifications: BCLS by AHA, ACLS, CRT Must-Have: Experience in airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary toileting. Proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs). Description: Position specialty is Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. The role involves working with pediatric and adult critical care patients. The shifts are two 12-hour night shifts on weekends, Friday through Monday. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The clinician will not be on-call. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is not required. Certifications include the state license, BCLS, ACLS, and CRT. Candidates must be open to accommodating block schedules. Local candidates are accepted without a local radius rule. Pending licenses are not accepted. Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application. Work settings include emergency room and adult ICU experience. Additional skills include bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and high-frequency oscillation. Knowledge of various respiratory therapies such as BiPAP and CPAP is essential. Interpretation of arterial blood gases is a critical aspect of this role. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a total of 632 staffed beds. Experience with Epic charting is required. Daily census is approximately 445 patients. Patient age groups range from neonates to geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available from respiratory services. Candidates must provide proof of high school level education. Critical care experience is strictly required. Certifications must be current at the time of hire.
