Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:42 PM - 7:12 AM) Experience: 2 years of SICU Experience, Open Heart Trained License: Active Michigan License Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 2 years of SICU Experience - Open Heart Trained - BLS (AHA) certified - ACLS (AHA) certified Description: This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions. The nursing process is applied while utilizing broad nursing knowledge in a caring manner. Responsibilities include assessing patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support. The nurse organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care based on real and/or perceived needs. Evaluating patient progress is essential, correlating patient information with nursing knowledge.
