Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Gastroenterology Location: Lansing, MI Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Exciting Locum CRNA Opportunity in Lansing, MI – Competitive Pay and Stable Schedule Join our team as a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing expert anesthesia care at a reputable Endoscopy Center. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills independently in a dedicated outpatient setting, supporting the department during a short staffing period from January 2026 through Summer 2026. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) for endoscopy procedures, including EGD with biopsies, colonoscopies, or a combination of both. Independently manage 10-16 adult and geriatric cases per day. Work within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Collaborate with a dedicated Endo Center support team. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Required Skills: Valid CRNA license and certification. Proven experience managing MAC anesthesia independently. Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills. Reliable, autonomous practice style. Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in outpatient endoscopy settings. Familiarity with EPIC EMR or similar systems. Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently. Preferred Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program. Minimum 2 years of hands-on anesthesia experience, especially in outpatient or outpatient-focused environments. Prior work experience with adult and geriatric patient populations. Other Requirements: Ability to start by January 1, 2026. Credentialing support estimated at 60-120 days. Compensation includes mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates, orientation pay at half the hourly rate, and holiday pay at 1.5X. Must hold current licensure and certifications required for practice in Michigan. Travel reimbursement applicable when necessary.
