Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency
Department • Patient ratios range from 1:5-6 during days,
potentially up to 1:8 depending on patient volume and holidays •
Night ratios range from 1:4-7 • Weekend requirement: 3 weekends
(Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule • May be scheduled to work 1,
2, or all 3 days of the weekend • Floating required to Pediatric ED
if necessary • No on-call responsibilities • Daily census of 250
patients with 100 beds • Care for all age groups: infants,
pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • 36 hours of
orientation required • Must complete non-billable modules before
working (approximately 5 hours) • Required certifications: State
license, ACLS, BCLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH • Preferred
certification: ENPC • Minimum 2 years experience required • Level I
trauma experience required • EPIC charting experience required •
Must have experience with interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias • Travel experience required • Unit accepts first-time
travelers • Preferred experience with continuous IV sedation,
procedural sedation administration, and triage • Michigan license
must be active by start date (compact license not accepted) •
Maximum 5 days RTO per contract, must be submitted at time of

high-volume emergency department with 100 beds and serves
approximately 250 patients daily. The organization provides
extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical
therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy,
radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams,
pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Location: Lansing, MI Lansing serves as
