This position is responsible for managing sales activity on
selected HSD exclusive products. This requires regular consultative
contact with every FSC in a defined geography and assigned
customers. The EPS is expected to form a business relationship with
each FSC and RM in order to meet sales targets on selected lines.
In addition, the EPS is expected to demonstrate product expertise
on assigned product lines, strong selling and closing skills, train
both customers and FSCs in their geographic area, and generate
sales at budgeted levels.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develops, manages, and increases sales on specific product lines in
order to realize assigned quotas for a diverse portfolio of
products. Viewed as the wholesales rep for assigned lines. This
requires face-to-face consultative contact with every FSC in
assigned territory, including extensive co-travel time and direct
sales activities when unaccompanied by other staff. Follows up on
all leads assigned to territory, as well as closely coordinates
with designated call center staff.
Plans, organizes, and implements effective sampling and selling
strategies using proprietary in-house customer data. Reports
specifically where and how samples are used.
Maintains professional and consistent communication with Exclusives
Regional Manager and performs activities with customers as
Attends all sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, and
Career Development training programs as instructed by Exclusives
Responds in a timely and professional fashion to customer concerns,
executing follow up actions to ensure customer issues/opportunities
are communicated to appropriate HSD departments and resolved.
Maintains accountability for adherence to company and divisional
organization policies and procedures.
Works in a professional and harmonious manner and cooperates with
all HSD personnel in the execution of company programs as

Demonstrated ability for technical selling, training downstream
sales people, and achieving sales quotas across a diverse portfolio
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

training skills, attention to detail, planning capabilities, strong
computer skills, and project management skills
Valid drivers license required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
