Zebra's product software licensing team is actively recruiting a software engineer / developer with 2+ years of Java full stack experience, in response to recent acquisitions in SaaS and growing needs for adoption of software and SaaS licensing. These new requirements include making the licensing experience "frictionless" for our customers, evolving to user and account-based licensing, building custom interfaces and portals, creating micro-services and re-usable modules, developing bots to ensure alignment between databases, and enhancing existing applications and utilities with new features based on market need. Zebra's product software licensing team is responsible for E2E business process and solution expertise related to the development, distribution, and maintenance of end-product software licensing. This includes strong partnership with product development and order management community to meet their current and future business strategies. In addition, the team provides technical and functional leadership in working through issues with other business teams to ensure the best overall customer experience in working with Zebra. Responsibilities: + Engages as part of an Agile scrum team, contributing tasks and work effort to user stories for specific sprints and epics. + Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of software assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project. + Develops and tests documentation which describes the specific software functionality. + Participates and provides some input in project code reviews. + Participates in analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing business problems to be solved with enhancements to utilities, integration, or automation. + Runs software tests designed by more experienced engineers. + Reviews test results and perform root cause analyses to identify and fix problems, providing mitigating actions to prevent future failures. + Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Insures compliance with quality process and standards. + Makes changes to or upgrades existing software. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions. + Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity + Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems. + Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. + Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments. + May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel. + Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. + Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience + 2+ years of professional work experience programming in Java Full-Stack + Experience in Java, HTML, CSS, JSP and Servlets + Experience/knowledge in Springboot, Hibernate, REST Services, JPA. + Experience with SOAP and REST API integration. + Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. + Strong analytical abilities. + Excellent active listening skills. + Experience working with a global team, and ability to work and act autonomously where appropriate. + Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple activities concurrently. Preferred Requirements: + Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture integration, Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), and Responsive web design. + Experience with one or more of JS frameworks preferably Angular, React JS and Typescript. + Experience in different types of Databases, Relational Databases, and NoSQL Databases + Experience with Agile development process using JIRA desired. + Experience with SQL programming desired. + Experience with Amazon Web Services or any other Cloud framework is a plus Come join the herd! Salary: USD 78700.00 - USD 118100.00 Yearly Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
