Agile Project Manager The candidate chosen for this role requires a strong agile mentoring project manager with excellent communication and leadership skills who enjoys solving problems. The focus will be on mentoring and training teams & Project Managers on the implementation of agile, change management, problem solving and best practices.In addition, as a Business Services Project Manager, the ideal candidate will manage key agile software projects and activities as well as be an essential member of our team.   • 3-4+ years of IT PMO experience
  • Bachelors degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required
  • Strong experience in Kanban and Scrum
  • SDLC knowledge and experience managing web-based application projects with major dependenciesTechnical Skills:Proficient with the Atlassian Suite tools: Jira and Confluence, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Planview PPM Pro reports / dashboards, Aha! Roadmap tool, Kibana, and DevOps experience. Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience
    • Ability to present information in a concise and effective manner, ensuring messages are received, understood and all parties are aligned
    • Passionate collaborator with a focus on what is best for the team
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to align short-term priorities with strategic and long-term objectives
    • Ability to learn from challenging experiences, recover and continue making progress towards objectives without reducing pace

    • Focus on continual improvementMajor Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Mentor and train teams on agile, tools and change management best practices implementation
    • Coordinate and partner with diverse internal stakeholder groups including early engagement to achieve effective buy-in
    • Support cross-functional agile product development teams as they efficiently deliver features and exciting capabilities
    • Promote strong collaboration between teams and clear potential blockers
    • Work closely with Development Lead and Product Owners to ensure that the teams remain closely synchronized and upcoming features are well planned.
    • Identify and escalate timely project risks and issues; make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures
    • Ensure impacts of issues are communicated so all parties are aligned
    • Partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts
    • Ensure timely use of project and technology tools to help drive accountability. Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date.
    • Manage key technical functions with great care and attention to ensure coding standards are met and quality maintained
    • Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders.Helpful / Preferred:
    • Experience with implementing change management
    • Experience in agile Scrum Master mentoring & training
    • Experience working with matrixed/shared teams
    • Certified Scrum Master
    • Experience working with MS Office, Teams and Atlassian tools
    • Project governance certification PMP
