Group DescriptionThe Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.Role Summary This position reports directly to the IT Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of DexSys as described below:General Job Duties:--- Supports the maintenance and troubleshooting requirements of information systems for a manufacturing environment operating 24 hours a day, 6 days a week.--- Exhibits teamwork skills and actively participates in team-oriented activities in a positive working environment.--- Demonstrates problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.--- Support production and building launches and expansions.--- Follows Company policies and display conduct expected of DexSys employees as described in the Company handbook.--- Adheres to all safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures of DexSys to provide for a safe and healthful workplace.--- Works in a safe manner at all times and reports any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order to correct the situation.--- Reports all accidents and near misses in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Specific Job Duties:--- Maintains IT support for the facility utilizing the admin team as needed, including occasional weekend production and equipment upgrades.--- Provides Microsoft Server installation, maintenance, and upgrades.--- Performs administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.--- Performs Active Directory user setup and GPO maintenance.--- Supports and maintains the IT Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure.--- Work with IT Admin team to ensure full network functionality and performance.--- Research and install necessary Windows/software/firmware updates.--- Performs PC hardware and software installations, imaging, upgrades, and troubleshooting.--- Schedules and Completes patching and upgrades during downtime for minimal production interference.--- Supports moves, additions and changes for Server & PC hardware, software as well as provide direct support to end users.--- Works with Corporate IT to handle WAN/firewall rules and troubleshooting, MS Office installs and troubleshooting and mobile email installs and issues.--- Maintains and improves disaster recovery process; establish/maintain test schedule.--- Documents software, hardware, and network processes.--- Ensures most current revision levels are employed for all software applications to promote consistency throughout the facility. DexSys--- Ensures systems backups and recovery testing are performed on a regular basis to guarantee information availability in the event of system problems.--- Assists with camera/security system.--- Assists with support of the plant sound/emergency system.--- Performs other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications/Requirements Related Work Experience--- Six years' experience and extensive working knowledge in supporting Server/PC environments running Windows Server 2012 or higher & Windows 10 or higher, MSO365 Pro, TCP/IP, - - - SNMP, VPN, internet using LAN and WAN using industrial switches and routers.--- Three years' experience with server virtualization (Hyper-V) and SAN technologies (NetApp preferred, but not required)--- Three years' experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager--- Experience with VEEAM backup software--- Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server 2012 or higher--- Familiar with Linux Operating Systems--- Automotive tier one sequencing background desired.Educational Requirements--- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study. Six+ years work-related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Technical certifications are a plus. Work experience combined with applicable schooling may be considered. Additional Information Physical Requirements--- This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of two (2) to four (4) hours a day, the ability to performwork while sitting for six (6) hours a day and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
