Utilities Right of Way Divisional Director - Michigan/Indiana

ORC Utilities and Infrastructure Land Services is seeking a
full-time, exempt Divisional Director to oversee project management
in Indiana and Michigan.
Utility & Infrastructure Land Services provides services related
to program management for the land acquisition phase of pipeline,
transmission lines, utility and other infrastructure projects as
well as real estate services including, but not limited to, right
of way acquisition services. The Program Manager (PM) will
implement complex strategies set forth by the VP of Utilities and
overseeing project management, client relations and business
development within their assigned division.
Four-year degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent
aptitude in Energy, Real Estate industry.
Understanding of the Right of Way Industry
Minimum of 10 years project management experience.
Must have experience effectively managing and motivating direct
Prior experience managing budgets and preparing reports on
Proven ability of contract development and implementation of
Prior experience overseeing projects totaling a minimum of
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically, Outlook,
Word and Excel, and SharePoint or equivalent database.

Demonstrated organizational, planning, and prioritization
Able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines,
as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing
Ability to understand applicable laws, policies and procedures
that each project is governed by.
Valid Driver’s License.
Master’s degree from an accredited university or related
Prior experience with Electric Transmission and/or Distribution
is a plus

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job,
the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and
exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial
repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to
high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long
spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read,
understand and interpret department related documents and data.
Able to make quick decisions, present to staff and clients, have
difficult conversations and supervise staff. The employee is
required to move about inside the office to access files, office
equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This
role requires the employee to travel regularly to meet with clients
or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long
durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be
outdoors traversing different types of landscapes. May be exposed
to the elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
