Job Description:Role Overview - The Consumer Operations and Global Risk Analytics (GRA) Strategy organization is responsible for the planning and delivery of a coherent model risk management framework and infrastructure, leading strategic programs across GRA, delivery of complete, accurate, timely, and compliant data for the consumer models, and developing and executing the consumer model production processesThe Consumer Risk Analytics COO is responsible for the development, coordination, planning and execution of the Consumer Operations and GRA Strategy book of work covering business process re-engineering, model development, forecast administration, data acquisition and management, and operational functions. The role leads operational executive reporting, controls and business support, including audit and exam readiness and documentation, issue management, and process inventory development and controls. The role is also heavily involved with CRA's large scale data transformation strategy program targeted at streamlining the data life cycle for processes supporting CCAR, CECL and Capital for Bank of America Consumer lines of business including mortgage, credit card, vehicle lending and deposits. ------Program objectives include:Driving and influencing culture change to create the right accountability model around consumer data Building -consistent governed historical data sets per product to enable regulatory and operational quantitative modeling and analyticsLeveraging technology solutions to ensure control and compliance of data sourcing and provisioning processesRetiring legacy infrastructure built-in risk to compensate for upstream data deficienciesEnsuring ongoing compliance with data related policies and regulations including data privacy, SOX, and other regulatory and internal standards This role reports to the Consumer Operations & GRA Strategy Executive, but is also directly accountable to the other Consumer Risk Analytics and Alternative Modeling executivesKey ResponsibilitiesSupports the four Consumer Risk Analytics and Alternative Modeling leaders, and their respective teams, in the development of the data and model development books of work, taking into account risk environment, internal requirements including model refresh cycles and expected control standards Syndication and coordination of the books of work with stakeholders including: Consumer and GWIM business lines, Model Risk Management, Enterprise Testing and Allowance / Credit Risk Drives executive reporting and associated performance measures including model health, self and audit raised issues, and the SIM / OpEx processOversees the ongoing maintenance and refinement of end-to-end business controls including process maps, desktop procedures, and associated documentationPartners with executives on workforce planning, location strategy, organizational health, and engagement strategiesOversight, coordination, and program management of the delivery of the data and model development books of work including-New model development and implementation -Major business reengineering efforts, including the data transformation program -Adherence to all internal and external standards -Identification and resolution of audit and regulatory issues impacting the consumer spaceQualifications & Experience:Role QualificationsDemonstrated executive-level leadership and management experienceDeep acumen in retail banking processes including data flows, model development, regulatory reporting, and risk management Strong technical skills in data domain - experience in big data sourcing, and data intensive processes while understanding the business and modelling requirementProcess design / process improvement and change management experienceProven ability to lead initiatives end-to-end independently and manage diverse teams to drive change and implement programs effectively and efficientlySuperior written, verbal, presentation creation, and delivery skillsDemonstrated ability to handle and execute a high volume of competing priorities with strict deadlines Strong analytical and organizational skills and strong attention to detailLeadership CompetenciesEffective at influencing key stakeholders across the company; ability to partner with business leaders to achieve breakthrough resultsAbility to detect and remediate organizational / process weaknesses and deficienciesAbility to work in a highly regulated and controlled environmentChampion for diversity; able to recruit and retain teams with diverse backgroundsLeads and coaches highly technical teamsExecution oriented with a bias for actionIdentifies and manages risk proactively within risk appetite limitsShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: -40Full time
