Job description:

Role Summary

This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of DexSys as described below:

Exhibit a fair and consistent management approach following the principles outlined in The Magna Employee's Charter to ensure a satisfied and productive employee workplace.

Persuade and support Company policies and business objectives in the daily management of the operations of the Company.

Identify growth and developmental opportunities and on-going training needs of audit and quality personnel which provide for an overall positive working environment.

Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of DexSys to provide a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor so the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, improve, implement and maintain quality systems in compliant with IATF16949 and customer specific requirements.

Plan and facilitate registration and surveillance audits with external auditors. Act as a Representative to sustain IATF16949 & customer specific certifications.

Through the DexSys CAR system: Support implementation of containment measures;Identify effective root cause analysis and corrective action plans with Department Managers.

Develop and maintain internal audit program including training and developing internal auditors.

Maintain responsibility for DexSys Quality System documentation. Manage Customer Specific and IATF changes.

Support monthly Management Review presentation and follow-up.

Support the development of Control Plans and FMEA's per IATF 16949 guidelines and customer specific requirements.

Develop a standardized format for High Risk Process Assessment and Key Quality Element processes for all manufacturing groups and audit to ensure compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.

1 to 3 years' experience in automotive industry with auditing experience.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal personnel to organize information and projects.

Demonstrated knowledge of AIAG Core Tools with ability to implement AIAG initiatives.

Demonstrated organizational, project management, and leadership skills. Must be able to work independently.

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to exercise influence at various levels and functions.

Certified IATF 16949 Lead Internal Auditor

Strong computer background, including MS Office applications.

Additional Information

This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day and

The ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.

The ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.

Ability to climb stairs is necessary. Good vision at a close distance is required.
